While the title of this one echoes the Maldives or Bora Bora, our very own Paradise Wildlife Park will open its doors until late every Friday and Saturday from 30th July to 28th August. This doesn’t mean however that these times at the Park will just be a usual opening, as there’ll be plenty of entertainment including African drummers, acoustic sets, wildlife stilt walkers and face painting.
If you’re a local or staying around in St Albans or Harpenden for a day or two, make the most of it by heading to some of the county’s finest markets and foodie experiences. With a big focus on sustainability in the homeware world, you might find your next cooking utensil or piece of furniture at the St Albans Vintage Market. If you’re looking to eat well and have a treat Sunday, there are numerous Farmers Markets serving summer produce in Harpenden! Despite it’s name of Home Farm, this one isn’t via Zoom… you’ll be able to enjoy a number of handpicked events such as alfresco dining experiences and live theatre, to circus camp and outdoor adventures for your little ones. Petrolheads this is one event not to be missed on the 29th & 30th August at Knebworth Park. Rolling into the beautiful surroundings of Knebworth, you'll have the chance to see parades of classic favourites, with sport, saloons, American, motorbikes and even military vehicles to be spied in a series of static displays. Get ready to start those engines!
Ah, cinema under the stars! The Luna Cinema is back in the beautiful surroundings of Knebworth House from 19th - 22nd August with a classic line-up of feel-good favourites on the big screen! With a full bar, sensational foodie treats and everything from Moulin Rouge, to Pretty Woman and Rocketman to choose from, it's time to kick back and let those credits roll.
DogFest is back at Knebworth Park on 11th - 12th September.
