Whether you’re looking for something to entertain the kids or dreaming of a delightful day out for the whole family, there's plenty to do over the Summer Holidays in Hertfordshire.

From Theatrical treats to dinosaur discoveries and outdoors adventures in the sumptuous sun, this holiday is packed full of ways to step away from phone screens and enjoy an adventurous six weeks of summer! 

Spectacular shows at Hertford Theatre
Take the kids to enjoy a theatrical treat this summer as two popular books come to life onstage. Set your place to watch a musical adaptation of ‘The Tiger who came to Tea’ or buckle in and transport to outer space to enjoy ‘Aliens Love Underpants Live’. Why not take it further? You can book a meet and greet the aliens from the show or get creative and join in the family dressing-up competition for an out-of-this-world experience. Curtains up

Natural History Museum: Dinosaur Displays
Delve into the pre-historic ages at the National History Museum’s Dino Display at Tring. Explore the diverse dinosaur species that used to roam the local land and find out about the species that might still live among us. If your little ones are dinosaur-crazy, they can even create their own armour inspired by their pre-historic pals and discover dinosaur teeth in the eerily exciting exhibition. Summer at the museum

If you’re looking for animal experiences, the Paradise Wildlife Park might attract your attention. Whether you’re tempted to try your hand at zookeeping or photographing the animals there are plenty of experience packages to explore.
