Resting in the shadow of the magnificent Knebworth House, which dates back to the Tudor times (don't let the Victorian facade fool you), Knebworth's gardens cover more than 28 acres, featuring a maze, mature trees and even a wilderness area.
Beautiful wood carvings, a red deer and Willow the rescue dog, take a peek at some of Knebworth's residents, found amongst the blossom this spring.
A majestic Zimbabwean guinea fowl and even a giraffe can be found in the fernery at Knebworth. Stroll past the wedding gazebo (how amazing would those wedding photos be?!) and you'll find the glorious Gold Garden, a vision of tulips, bluebells and cherry blossom.
We can't wait to stroll along this bluebell-lined pathway next spring. Here you'll find another magnificent sculpture, cleverly carved from a tree trunk - we reckon this looks like a perfect spot to get lost between the pages of a good book.
From dogwoods to dinosaurs, the next part of the trail takes us back in time to the pre-historic! Beware of the sabre-toothed tiger and the magnificent woolly mammoth. But wait? Is that an owl's nest we spy in the jaws of a t-rex?
