Esmerelda Raventree the good witch of Rye Meads needs your help! Did you know Halloween is the busiest time of the year for witches? Ingredients to collect, spells to cast and potions to mix… there’s a lot for poor Esmerelda to do! Visit RSPB Rye Meads this October Half Term and begin your magical training on our self-guided trail so you can be Esmerelda’s apprentice. As you explore the reserve you will choose a nature wand, face your fears, identify potion ingredients and practice your flying skills. Come in your best Halloween costume and strike your best spooky pose at our mini pumpkin patch to enter our photo competition. The best photo will win a brand-new bird box camera kit! There is no need to book for this event – just drop in!
