Find out more

Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, near Much Hadham, is where Henry Moore, created some of his greatest work. A visit offers you the chance to experience world-famous sculptures in a beautiful outdoor setting.

At Henry Moore Studios & Gardens you can explore over 70 acres of grounds, showing the artist’s iconic work against the landscape he worked in. You can also take a tour of the Moore family’s home and the beautiful gardens created by Irina Moore. The faithfully recreated studios give you the chance to see behind the scenes and appreciate how Moore’s sculptures – large and small – were created.

Alongside the inspiring studios and sculpture gardens, a there is a new visitor centre, where you will find a cafe with spectacular views over the sculpture gardens and an exclusive art gift shop.

New exhibition for 2022 Henry Moore: The Sixties, a fascinating insight into Moore's life and work during a pivotal decade in his career. In the 1960s, Moore embraced new materials and techniques which enabled him to work on an increasingly monumental scale. He incorporated a greater degree of abstraction in his work and satisfied an enormous global demand for his art, which sometimes generated controversy. This exhibition will feature rarely seen sculptures, drawings, graphics and a wealth of archive material drawn entirely from our collections to illuminate the innovation of an artist at the height of his powers.

Henry Moore Studios & Gardens offers an inspirational day out for the whole family. Each visit helps to support the wider work of the Henry Moore Foundation, a charity founded by Moore to support sculpture and the visual arts.
