Bridgewater Monument was built in memory of the third Duke of Bridgewater who once lived in Ashridge House.

The Monument is open weekends from April to October when you can climb the 172 steps to the top. From the top you will have views of the Ashridge Estate. On clear days, it is possible to see as far as Canary Wharf, 30 miles away in Central London.

Free parking and cafeteria nearby.
